A health and fitness service for you and your family!
COVID 19 UPDATE
5/11/20 UPDATE LOCK DOWN 2
As from Thursday 5th November - Wednesday 2nd December all my face to face classes will be cancelled, PT sessions will still be going on but I will be in clients gardens while they stay indoors.... I have my big umbrella and waterproof gear all ready :-)
There will be more Zoom Pilates classes available and Zoom Staying Active classes will carry on. If you would like to join any of the classes below please get in contact with me and I will send you an invite. All classes are 40 minutes long and cost £5 payable by BACS.
Monday 10 am/11am/1pm all Pilates
Tuesday 12.40pm Staying active/6pm/7pm and 8pm Pilates
Fingers crosses we will be allowed to open group classes in 4 weeks, then everything will go back to below:
All my group classes are now back up and running, although some are now in different venues and different days and times due to room size being too small and halls not opening until next year. The class numbers have been reduced to 7 in my freelance venues and my Pilates classes at Steyning leisure centre have been reduced to 12 and Aqua at Pavilions is limited to 30. This is so social distancing guidelines can be in place, the benefit to you also is that you can be watched more closely so that you can have a more effective workout and you can work at your fitness levels and abilities. Full Protocol according to the Government guide lines is in place in all of my venues. My aim is to make you feel as safe as possible while you exercise.
I am still running some online Pilates Zooms classes for my ladies and gents that are either still shielding or not yet ready to join a group class. These classes are also good for parents that have child care issue or people that maybe are not feeling 100% to go to a class, these classes can be done in your own home. Or maybe you fancy doing more than one class a week, you are welcome to do as many classes as you like :-)
I am still running an on-line Zoom Staying Active class, this is designed for the older person to increase their stability, strengthen, endurance, mobility, balance and confidence. It is a chair based class as well as standing with the chair for support if needed. All exercises are functional, meaning that each exercises will strengthen the muscles to get up out of a chair, climb the stairs, reach up and down to cupboards and pick things up off the floor. I will also cover ways to make your home safe and reduce the risk of falling, with coping strategies with getting up off the floor if you are by yourself. The class is £5.00 and paid via BACS. The class is 40 minutes long with a maximum of 5 people. If you would like to know more, please do not hesitate to contact me, I am more than happy to have a chat with you. If you have parents that are not local this class is ideal, as you could be anywhere in the country or world. ;-)
Personal Training is back to normal apart from me keeping 2 metres away from my clients and I wear a mask and cleaning all equipment and areas that i have touched, keeping everyone safe.
So please take a look at my new timetable and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.
Keep well and stay safe everyone, I look forward to seeing you face to face.
